Nicola White - artist and painter living at Whitsand Bay, Cornwal, England, UK

Born in Hillingdon, Nicola moved to the South West after Art College in 1989. She describes herself as a "self taught artist" as she found the restraints of college too conventional - and her social life more important at that time!

She has had the opportunity to live in various places and has met some very interesting people on her journey which finally brought her to "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner" and her little piece of paradise - her chalet at Whitsand Bay.

Nicola explains "During this time I have continued to paint and feel I have found my own individual style of painting. I personally like bright, fun and colourful art and I hope this reflects in my art work."

She has had a studio locally at Maker Heights for the last two years and intends to be working full time on her painting now that her daughter Daisy has started school.

Nicola's work is available on commission, through sales and as prints and postcards. Her original work has recently sold at auction in excess of GBP 500
